Awaken & Uplift

Richmond Ballet is a world-class performing arts organization dedicated to ballet and beyond. Their mission, to awaken and uplift the human spirit, is a testament to the beauty, joy and wonder they bring to communities all over the globe. I was tasked with redesigning their website to better reflect their status as a premier dance company, and promote their school and outreach initiatives. Building off the beautiful logo and visual identity established by local partner, Karnes Coffey, I created an engaging, elevated visual presence and design system to solidify the status of The State Ballet of Virginia as a premier dance company whose history is in the making.

Upon completion of a Brand Strategy, the compelling brand story was further brought to life through an ownable aesthetic. The unique graphic elements, dynamic imagery and iconic Richmond Ballet blue had previously been used for print initiatives, but had not been fully realized in the digital space. Leveraging the extensive palette of patterns, modern classic typography and iconic silhouettes, the brand is now consistent in all touchpoints of the client lifecycle.

Results
