Liberation Veteran Services (formerly Liberation Family Services) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe haven exclusively for veterans in crisis. With a new name and positioning, we helped LVS update their brand further in order to emphasize their core offering of transitional and rapid rehousing.

A heroic, welcoming logo and visual identity blends military dignity with a sense of place. The campaign line, Housing, Healing, Hope, acts as a recap of the nonprofit’s offerings, both physically and emotionally.

The new aesthetic and messaging were applied to all marketing materials including a newsletter we rebranded as The Veteran’s Voice. Strategic mailings were sent out on key veteran-centric dates, such as Memorial Day and Veterans Day, to increase brand awareness, establish credibility and encourage people to honor veterans by giving back while top of mind.

Results

LVS achieved an 86% success rate of veterans who now have the ability to live on their own. The organization continues to receive generous donations and remain a visible entity through grassroots efforts, local partnerships and community outreach. Most recently, The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation awarded LVS one of eleven $50,000 special grants to nonprofit organizations providing essential services for active duty, military families and veterans.
