Rome Rises

Women’s March Rome is a nonprofit organization that aims to protect and promote progressive values, while upholding the national movement's principles of unity. We collaborated with a multi-national team to increase awareness and attendance for the second anniversary of Women’s March Rome. Services included developing a marketing strategy centered on a robust social media initiative, targeting both Italian and American expat audiences, as well as concept and design for social media and promotional marketing.

Social media posts and promotional flyers in both English and Italian allowed us to reach multiple audiences.

Additionally, the unique assets we designed, many featuring past event photos with Italian activist groups and celebrities, increased engagement and were widely shared throughout Italy.

Results

With a heavy social media push weeks before and a Facebook livestream during the event, Women’s March Rome was primed for success. The event was picked up by multiple worldwide publications and was one of a few select chapters to receive a significant feature in The New York Times.
