RVA is for Love

Women’s March RVA is a nonprofit organization that encourages the diverse community of Richmond, Virginia (RVA) to come together for equity, justice and the empowerment of all womxn. For the second anniversary of Women’s March RVA, we took charge of marketing and promotions across print and digital channels. Services included concept development and execution of a social media campaign leveraging unique, shareable content that helped to increase awareness, generate excitement and boost event attendance.

Using the organization’s mission, vision and values as a foundation, we created communications that played off the aesthetic of the national brand, but with messaging that was uniquely RVA.

Results

Over 1,000 people marched in solidarity in Richmond to reinvigorate the energy, momentum and hope needed going into the next election. National Women’s March Co-President, Bob Bland, was in attendance, as well as US Representative, Abigail Spanberger and state Senator Jennifer McClellan. The Expo featured 52 local organizations, 28 local vendors and 15 speakers and received both regional and national press, as well as numerous donations. All proceeds were given back to the women and minority-owned businesses featured at the Expo.

Women’s March RVA was mentioned in an Associated Press article covering US Marches for Women’s Rights.

“I can’t say enough good things about EVERGIB. They were a dream to work with: highly professional, responsive and fast. The work was exquisite, but even more important to note, they were fun to work with. I highly recommend EVERGIB.”
